The FC1 from Pilot-RC is a model that I have wanted to get my hands on ever since it first came out. Designed by the Elster Team, the same guys who made the design for my J10, it was clearly going to be an epic flyer.

Being a little bigger than my J10 I knew I wanted a little extra power, especially after having flown Enrico’s version at Jet Power 2022 in which he had a JetCat P220Rxi with a slow climb out from a hover.

I chose to go with the new JetCat P250PRO V2 with the insanely quick startup, and couldnt be happier with this choice.

For servos I followed a similar thought process from my J10, everything was going to be MKS, with fast and light servos on all small surfaces (ailerons and rudder) and strong servos for the large surfaces; all powered by a Powerbox-Systems Mercury SR2 assisted by their iGyro SAT and GPS III.

SETUP:

Gyro is always on, in “flight” position, only changing to “3D” mode for hovers and harriers.

All models are different. The values needed for your model may be different to mine. This is especially true if using different servos or arms as both affect the speed of the surface. This specific setup is for my model and my personal preference and should only be used as reference. Values as flown on 18/03/2025.
