After two years of lockdown, I can’t put into words how great it feels to be back with our friends from Gonzo Hobbies, in Dubai, for the 2021 Jets over Dubai and 2021 National Day Celebrations
This year, for the first time Raquel joined us in Dubai, along with her new helis, launching officially at the first ever public event the new Heli Profesional Soxos Strike 7.1
Also with us was fellow Pilot-RC team member Ryu Sintuphrom from Thailand and the ever impressive Jase Dussia from USA.
Following what now seems like a tradition, we built a Pilot-RC 103″ kit in a day, this time the brand new Extra NG, while also re-setting up my Laser 103″ from my last visit. Both powered by GP 123cc engines.
The weather was perfect, and we all enjoyed the friendship, fun and flying as well as meeting up for the first time in way too long, with many of those we regularly meet at various events, such as Xoel from Electron-Retracts, Carlos Marquez and Andres Leoni all also from Spain, Miguel from Portugal, Marc Petrak from JetCat with his new 3D vector Futura, Sascha from Italy, Lior from Israel, the Germans from the Carf team, and so many more
