It had been too long since we had been back to Prowing in Germany, especially considering the great fun that we have had at previous editions.
This time we went in mass, with around 20 people from Spain travelling to the event. Amongst us was Vicente from One Third RC Kits, designer and builder of the huge 50% scale Pitts Arrow that I would be flying throughout the event. Carlos from CMJets also joined us, both of them sharing a huge booth and displaying their models and tanks respectively.
We had to arrive early and go through German certification due to the Pitts being over 25kg, however it sailed through all the tests and we were ready to start the show.
I had a bit of a cold throughout the event so I wasn’t my usual energetic self, however the level and quantity of models on display did make it easier to get through the day!
From the latest and most technological JetCat turbines all the way down to pre-printed Solartex style covering for those early aviation scale models, there was plenty for everyone.
Highlight of the weekend was getting to test the V-Speak telemetry glasses, a really cool future for head up displays and flying information, full video on this on my YouTube channel.
