After two years of waiting, finally the opportunity to catch a flight, and travel! It may only have been to our neighbours in Portugal for a day, but it felt great!
We spent the morning at Miguel’s shop, AeroCar Control setting up models, and then proceeded with the maiden flights in the afternoon.
The Tomahawk Aviation L39 flew amazingly, and the twin turbine Skymaster F18 was also quite successful despite one landing gear not fully locking down for landing. A few tweaks needed but all in all, an uneventful flight.
Unfortunately the light didnt hold out long enough to test the Ultra Bandit and small T33 that we had also setup earlier that day, but it sounds like a perfect excuse for a return visit!
